Senior Staff Nurse - A&E Urgent Care (Hospital) #HZO

Location: West/ Central Salary: Up to $6.5K (Depending on experience)

Job Scope:

• Triage patients and determine the priority of care based on physical, psychological, and social assessments.
• Conduct focused assessments of patients' presenting complaints, medical history, and medications in accordance with established triage guidelines.
• Provide safe and patient-centred care while ensuring patient comfort.
• Monitor patients regularly, document assessments, and evaluate changes in condition.
• Assist clinicians during physical examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.
• Initiate timely interventions when patient conditions deteriorate or monitoring equipment indicates adverse findings.
• Assist in CPR and emergency interventions, working closely with physicians to stabilize patients.
• Communicate care plans and treatment updates to patients and their next-of-kin where appropriate.
• Coordinate with other departments and healthcare institutions for admissions, transfers, and ongoing patient care.
• Accompany critically ill or emergency patients during transfers to other hospitals when required.

Job Requirements:

• Min. Diploma/ Degree in Nursing
• Valid SNB & BCLS
• Advanced diploma in Nursing (Emergency) is an added advantage
• Min. 2-3 years relevant experience in emergency setting is preferred
