Senior Occupational Therapist – Hospital | Up to $6,000 #HHLT

📍 Queenstown 💰 Up to $6,000/month 🕒 Weekdays + Half-Day Saturday Once Every 4 Weeks

💼 Responsibilities

• Assess patients independently and develop appropriate occupational therapy treatment plans
• Provide specialised occupational therapy assessment and intervention
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Collaborate with doctors and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Review and update clinical protocols and SOPs
• Support clinical education and supervision of Occupational Therapists, Therapy Assistants and students
• Participate in clinical research and departmental projects
• Monitor service quality, productivity and workgroup performance indicators
• Manage therapy equipment inventory and support budgeting activities
• Contribute to staff development, training and new clinical services

📝 Requirements

• Min. diploma / Degree in Occupational Therapy
• AHPC registration required
• Postgraduate qualification in relevant clinical specialty advantageous
• Interest in Geriatrics, Neurology, Orthopaedics / Hand Therapy or Palliative Care
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
• Comfortable committing to weekday hours and one half-day Saturday every 4 weeks
