Senior Executive, Facilities Projects (Construction & Building Projects, Office Hours) #HDC1

About the company

A large healthcare institution is looking for a Senior Executive to plan and manage facilities and construction projects. You will ensure projects are delivered to cost, time, quality and statutory requirements while working with engineers, consultants and contractors.

Your tasks

• Plan and conduct feasibility studies and analysis of infrastructure construction costs
• Prepare estimated budgets and project schedules
• Manage development projects and ensure completion within the desired time, cost and quality standards
• Provide design and project engineering support and general technical advice
• Develop concept plans and conduct feasibility studies for new facilities
• Collate, update and administer building plans and architectural drawings
• Implement controls for proper documentation of records and plans, and conduct periodic audits on drawings and document control
• Ensure project specifications meet statutory and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders on project progress and issues
• Assist the department head with cost control and day-to-day administration
• Conduct system studies to improve procedures and methods within the department

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management or a Building-related discipline and above
• At least 3 years of experience managing multi-disciplinary, fast-track projects or project teams
• Construction project experience is highly preferred
• Familiarity with commercial drawing software and project management tools
• Good understanding of building regulations and statutory requirements
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
• Good administrative abilities and a high degree of initiative
• A team player who works well with multiple stakeholders
