The Role
As a Clinical Sample Processor, you will be responsible forreceiving daily shipments of samples and other materials, assessing samplesupon receipt, entering data into Lab Database, and storing samples based onprotocol specifications. 5 days Week Mon – Fri and Tues – Sat Depends on the shipment from US/ Europe
Key Responsibilities
- Sample Receipt & Processing: Receivedaily shipments of samples and materials; assess samples upon receipt anddocument any problems with received specimens.
- Data Entry & Documentation: Enterdata into Lab Database; perform qualitychecks of controlled forms, scan paperwork, and archive visits and otherregulated documentation.
- Specimen Handling: Perform barcodelabelling and validation of specimens; transport specimens to technicians inthe laboratory for analysis.
- Shipment Preparation: Prepare sampleshipments per the shipment schedule, including relevant documentation; qualitycheck shipments to ensure correct samples and documentation are included.
- Sample Distribution: Ship samples toother ICL locations or referral laboratories per protocol-specificrequirements.
- Database & Storage: Responsible forreceipt of samples into the database and storage of samples per protocolspecifications.
Requirements
- Education: Diploma/Degree in sciencerelated
- Experience: Internship or work experiencein receiving daily shipments of samples and assessing samples.
- Technical Skills: Basic working knowledgeof computers.
- Soft Skills: Accuracy and attentivenessto detail.
