Rail Systems Interface Engineer #HJN

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractors and system integrators to ensure engineering works meet project specifications and technical requirements.
• Review engineering designs, technical drawings, network architectures and installation plans for compliance.
• Monitor the installation and integration of railway communication systems, networking equipment and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate system interfaces and ensure reliable communication and data transmission between onboard and backend systems.
• Ensure compliance with railway safety standards, cybersecurity requirements and relevant industry regulations.
• Conduct technical reviews, identify potential issues and work with vendors to implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate system testing, performance verification and acceptance activities to ensure project requirements are met.
• Liaise with project teams, engineers, subcontractors and external stakeholders to track progress and resolve technical issues.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, project reports and system handover documents.
• Provide technical support to the Project or Commissioning Manager and assist with other project-related duties as required.

Job Requirements

• Min Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in railway systems, communications, telecommunications, system integration or technical project engineering.
• Experience in vendor management, subcontractor coordination or reviewing technical deliverables would be an advantage.
