Python Developer - AI ML Development Experience

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based applications and AI/ML solutions .
• Build and deploy machine learning and predictive models to solve business problems.
• Perform time-series forecasting , including data preparation, feature engineering, model development, validation and optimisation.
• Develop data processing and ML pipelines using Databricks .
• Work with large datasets using Databricks, PySpark and SQL .
• Integrate AI/ML models into applications and business workflows.
• Develop APIs and backend services using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask or Django .
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise deployed AI/ML solutions.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on Python development experience, p roven track record of leading technical teams through project lifecycles.
• Strong practical experience in AI/ML development and deploying machine learning models.
• Hands-on experience with time-series forecasting and predictive analytics.
• Experience with Databricks , PySpark and SQL for data processing and analytics.
• Experience with ML libraries/frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch .
• Strong Python programming and software development skills.
• Experience developing REST APIs using FastAPI, Flask or similar frameworks.
• Experience with Git, Docker, CI/CD and cloud platforms is an advantage.
