Perm | Application Engineer (Mechanical / Vacuum Systems) | Solidworks | Up to $5000 + AWS + VB #NKA

Location: Joo Koon Salary: Up to $5000 + AWS + VB Job Responsibilities: Provide technical and application support to customers and the Sales team on vacuum pumps and systems. Evaluate customer requirements and propose suitable technical solutions, including system design and component selection. Handle sales enquiries, prepare technical proposals and quotations, and provide technical clarifications. Design and oversee the fabrication, assembly and performance of small to medium vacuum systems. Coordinate with factories, vendors and subcontractors on system design, fabrication and project execution. Prepare engineering drawings, general arrangement drawings and P&IDs using 3D SolidWorks. Supervise system assembly, testing and commissioning, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT). Review customer specifications, coordinate order fulfilment and provide shipment updates. Conduct customer training on system operations when required. Provide technical support across Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines. Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering; Process Technology or Chemical Engineering background preferred 3–4 years of experience in application engineering and technical sales support. Proficient in 3D SolidWorks (mandatory). Good knowledge of mechanical equipment, mechanical construction and basic electrical systems. Experience in system design, fabrication or project management is an advantage. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Able to work independently and coordinate with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
