Patient Meal Services Coordinator / F&B Assistant #HDCC

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient meal orders, generate meal summaries, and manage catering requests to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Attend to patient meal enquiries and feedback professionally, providing timely assistance and follow-up.
• Monitor and record food safety control points, including food trolley reheating and chiller and freezer temperatures, and promptly report deviations for corrective action.
• Perform meal verification checks by cross-checking assembled meals against meal order chits before loading them onto food trolleys.
• Uphold strict standards in food hygiene, Halal compliance, critical control points, and workplace safety.
• Report equipment faults, maintenance requirements, and operational issues to the relevant departments or supervisor promptly.
• Ensure food preparation and meal assembly areas are clean, organised, and properly maintained after each session.
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure accurate meal distribution and efficient food service operations.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Minimum GCE N-Level, O-Level, or Nitec qualification
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in a supervisory capacity, preferably in a hospital, upscale hotel, restaurant, or high-volume food service operation.
• Basic Food Hygiene certification is required.
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with electronic meal ordering systems will be an advantage.
• Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle enquiries professionally.
• Comfortable working in a cold-room environment with temperatures ranging from 4°C to 18°C.
