Part-Time / Flexible Surgical Support | Orthopaedics Scrubs Nurse

We are seeking an experienced and confident Orthopaedic Surgical Scrub Nurse to support surgeons during orthopaedic and sports medicine procedures. This role is suited to a clinically experienced nurse who is familiar with the Operating Theatre (OT) environment, orthopaedic surgical techniques, and the use of surgical instruments, implants, and consumables.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures, particularly in orthopaedics, using the Company's instruments, implants, and consumables.
• Provide appropriate intraoperative support and anticipate surgeons' instrumentation requirements.
• Guide and support surgeons in the use of new products, instruments, and surgical techniques.
• Ensure all required instruments, implants, and consumables are available, complete, and prepared before each procedure.
• Maintain strong and professional relationships with surgeons, hospital staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of assigned product lines, including product features, benefits, applications, and relevant surgical techniques.
• Keep updated on new products, techniques, and developments within the orthopaedic and sports medicine field.
• Adhere strictly to company policies, regulatory requirements, and compliance guidelines at all times.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with relevant nursing qualifications.
• Previous *Operating Theatre / Scrub Nursing experience*.
• Experience in Orthopaedic procedures is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of surgical instruments and OT workflow.
• Must be experienced in skin closures ( Stitching )
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident working alongside surgeons and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented.
