Nurse Manager (Nursing Home) #HJO

Job Responsibilities Lead and oversee nursing operations to ensure safe, high-quality resident care. Lead quality assurance initiatives, nursing audits and follow-up on corrective improvement actions. Review and maintain nursing policies, procedures and workflows to ensure they remain current and effective. Oversee delivery of nursing care and ensure compliance with established clinical standards. Facilitate smooth transitions of residents between acute care, chronic care and the community where appropriate. Ensure appropriate nursing manpower, deployment and skill mix across shifts and services. Lead, supervise and provide guidance to the nursing team. Drive staff development, competency upgrading and in-house nursing training. Implement and guide staff on updated nursing practices, techniques and procedures. Oversee orientation, induction and preceptorship programmes for new nursing staff. Requirements Degree in Nursing. Valid practising certificate with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB). Preferably 2–3 years of experience in a similar nursing leadership position within a nursing home, geriatric ward or eldercare setting. Strong knowledge of nursing standards, clinical governance, quality assurance and regulatory requirements. Proven experience in nursing manpower management, staff development and competency management. Strong leadership, communication and people management skills.
