Medical Technologist (Blood Bank / Haematology / Clinical Chemistry and Microbiology) - #HKH

Working with the Laboratory business Office to perform a variety of Laboratory Test while rotating through various sections delivering accurate, reliable and precise test results in prompt and efficient manner which assists the physicians in patient diagnosis.

Performs routine test procedures, automated or manual, in the laboratory with little direct supervision.

assists in training of new personnel.

maintains a clean and well organised work area.

Maintains proper inventory level of all supplies and report any deficiency to the appropriate section manager or the designate.

Reviews all daily QC results and discuss any problems with the appropriate section manager or the designate.

Checks the performance of all instruments in the Laboratory and to report any which is not functioning properly.

Supports flexible staffing requirements in the department and participates in shift duties.

Complies with all regulatory guidelines, participating in CAP proficiency testing, National proficiency testing and inter Hospital QA programs.

Participates in a routine maintenance program for instruments and in on-going CME and professional devt programs.

Develops rapport with all the Laboratory Staffs as well with other Hospital departments.

Any other duties as assigned from time to time by management.

Requirements:

• Min Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent
• With a minimum of 2 to 3 years of medical technologist experience
