Manufacturing Technician (Medical | East | $3000) #HJO

Job Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair medical devices, equipment and related technical systems.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, calibration and functional checks to ensure equipment operates reliably and safely.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and basic software-related equipment issues.
• Conduct equipment testing and verification following maintenance or repair activities.
• Use appropriate hand tools, diagnostic equipment and testing instruments for troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
• Provide technical support and guidance on the proper operation and handling of equipment.
• Assist healthcare professionals, customers or internal teams with technical and product-related enquiries where required.
• Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, repair reports and other technical documentation.
• Ensure all maintenance and servicing activities comply with applicable quality, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Support equipment installation, upgrades and other technical projects as assigned.

Requirements

• NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Relevant hands-on experience in equipment maintenance, technical servicing, manufacturing support is preferred.
• Good understanding of mechanical, electrical and/or electronic troubleshooting.
• Comfortable using hand tools, testing instruments and diagnostic equipment.
• Able to work independently and effectively as part of a technical team.
