Manufacturing Cost Accountant #HDC1

Drive Cost Accuracy Across Manufacturing Join a manufacturing finance team in a hands-on  Cost Accounting  role, supporting product costing, inventory controls and month-end activities. You’ll work closely with manufacturing and warehouse teams to ensure accurate costing, investigate variances and support key cost management initiatives. Key Responsibilities Support cost accounting activities for Singapore manufacturing operations.

Perform cost rolls for new product launches and product transfers.

Participate in the annual cost roll exercise and ensure costing information is accurate and up to date.

Review, investigate and correct work order variances.

Analyse and resolve purchase price variances.

Support scrap review, analysis and reclassification activities.

Assist with costing and inventory activities during month-end closing.

Prepare  Excess & Obsolete (E&O)  inventory analysis and reporting.

Partner with warehouse teams to support the  Cycle Count Programme .

Participate in and witness cycle counts, including reviewing and approving cycle count documentation.

Perform ad hoc financial and cost analysis to support business needs and improvement projects.

What You’ll Bring Relevant experience in  cost accounting, manufacturing finance or management accounting .

Strong understanding of product costing, inventory accounting and manufacturing cost processes.

Experience analysing manufacturing variances such as work order and purchase price variances.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

Comfortable working with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and warehouse operations.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis.

Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting month-end and reporting timelines.
