What You’ll Do

• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in line with the preschool curriculum.
• Design and prepare creative learning materials, activities, and classroom experiences.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment where children feel encouraged to learn and explore.
• Support children’s learning, development, and well-being through meaningful daily interactions.
• Observe, record, and monitor children’s developmental progress.
• Set up and maintain engaging learning corners and classroom resources.
• Support daily classroom routines while ensuring children’s safety and well-being.
• Participate in centre events, enrichment programmes, and classroom administration.
• Foster positive relationships with parents and contribute to each child’s holistic development.
• Work closely with fellow educators to provide a positive and enriching early childhood learning experience.

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education – Teaching (DECCE-T) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Able to conduct preschool lessons and communicate effectively in Malay, as the role involves teaching Malay to preschool children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine interest in early childhood education and nurturing young learners.
• Caring, positive, proactive, and collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Candidates with a Diploma in any discipline without a relevant Early Childhood qualification may also be considered for an Assistant Teacher position, subject to suitability.
