About the Role We are looking for a Registered Optician or Probationary Optician registered with the Optometrists and Opticians Board (OOB) to join our healthcare team on a 6-month locum basis! This is a great opportunity for opticians looking for a flexible working arrangement while gaining experience in a professional healthcare environment and providing quality optical care and advice to patients Key Responsibilities Provide professional optical advice and educate patients on eye care and suitable optical solutions.

Conduct eye examinations using specialised equipment to assess patients' ocular health.

Recommend appropriate optical solutions based on patients' needs.

Dispense lenses and assist with the management of lens inventory.

Maintain a high standard of patient service and professional care.

Requirements Registered Optician or Probationary Optician with OOB.

Minimum Diploma in Optometry or NITEC / Higher NITEC in Opticianry.

Relevant experience in opticianry or optical services will be an advantage.

Strong communication and patient service skills
