URGENTLY SEEKINGJAPANESELANGUAGE SCHOOL TEACHER!

Job Responsibilities *Plan and deliver engaging mother tongue lessons for Primary Years 1–6, supporting students in developing their Japanese language proficiency in line with the curriculum

• Develop and adapt lesson plans, teaching resources and assessment materials to meet students’ learning needs and abilities.

• Assess and monitor students’ progress, maintain accurate academic records, and provide timely feedback and progress reports to students and parents.

• Prepare and administer formative and summative assessments in accordance with school policies and curriculum standards.

• Communicate and collaborate with parents, colleagues and the wider school community to support students’ learning and development.

• Maintain a positive, safe and supportive learning environment, promoting good behaviour, student well-being and active participation.

• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, school events and other assigned duties.

• Contribute to curriculum development, cross-curricular activities and the continuous improvement of the programme.

• Comply with school policies, safeguarding requirements and professional standards.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Japanese Language is required in order to teach student in the language
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a relevant setting, ie., school.
• Location @Dempsey (Napier MRT walk 15 mins)
