Laboratory Sample Handler – East Area Pharma MNC #HCK

The Role As a Clinical Sample Processor, you will be responsible for receiving daily shipments of samples and other materials, assessing samples upon receipt, entering data into Lab Database, and storing samples based on protocol specifications.

5 days Week Mon – Fri and Tues – Sat Depends on the shipment from US/ Europe Key Responsibilities

• Sample Receipt & Processing: Receive daily shipments of samples and materials; assess samples upon receipt and document any problems with received specimens.
• Data Entry & Documentation: Enter data into Lab Database; perform quality checks of controlled forms, scan paperwork, and archive visits and other regulated documentation.
• Specimen Handling: Perform barcode labelling and validation of specimens; transport specimens to technicians in the laboratory for analysis.
• Shipment Preparation: Prepare sample shipments per the shipment schedule, including relevant documentation; quality check shipments to ensure correct samples and documentation are included.
• Sample Distribution: Ship samples to other ICL locations or referral laboratories per protocol-specific requirements.
• Database & Storage: Responsible for receipt of samples into the database and storage of samples per protocol specifications.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma degree in science related
• Experience: Internship or work experience in receiving daily shipments of samples and assessing samples.
• Technical Skills: Basic working knowledge of computers.
• Soft Skills: Accuracy and attentiveness to detail.
