L2/L3 Network Engineer (Full-Time) #IAC

Job Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 network support for incidents, service requests and network issues.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity, routing, switching, VLANs and VPNs.
• Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls and wireless devices.
• Monitor network performance and respond to alerts and incidents.
• Perform network changes, upgrades, configuration and preventive maintenance.
• Conduct basic root cause analysis (RCA) and escalate complex issues when required.
• Work with vendors and internal teams to resolve network and connectivity issues.
• Maintain accurate network documentation, configurations and incident records.
• Support network infrastructure projects, migrations and technology refreshes.
• Ensure network services are maintained within agreed SLA and operational standards.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant network engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLAN, routing and switching.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches.
• Familiarity with OSPF, BGP, STP, VPN and network troubleshooting.
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• CCNA certification required; CCNP preferred.
