Junior Medical Technologist, Paediatrics #HFT

📋 Job Scope

• Provide laboratory support for Lung Function, Allergy & Sleep Monitoring studies
• Perform pulmonary function tests such as spirometry, NIOX-ENO, lung volumes, Impulse Oscillometry, diffusion capacity & bronchial provocation tests
• Perform sweat testing and allergy tests as requested
• Ensure accurate and timely recording/reporting of test results
• Coordinate urgent test requests with clinics, wards & departments
• Maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, consumables & inventory
• Ensure equipment is properly checked/calibrated and in good working condition
• Support procurement and stock replenishment
• Assist with patient registration, appointments & enquiries
• Provide patient service recovery and attend to feedback
• Supervise, coach & guide new/junior staff
• Participate in quality improvement activities and in-service training
• Maintain laboratory statistics and support smooth daily operations

🎓 Requirements

• Diploma in Medical Science / Biotechnology / Biomedical Science or related field
• 2–3 years of related clinical service experience preferred
• Keen to work with children in a clinical environment
