IT Manager (Application and Database Support Analyst)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day IT operations, business applications, and system support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, system, and database issues.
• Manage Microsoft SQL Server databases, including SQL queries, stored procedures, performance tuning, backup, and recovery.
• Maintain data integrity, security, and availability across business systems.
• Support SAP BI , data modeling, reporting, and data extraction requirements.
• Manage system enhancements, integrations, upgrades, migrations, and implementations.
• Coordinate system testing, including system, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Manage user access, IT security, compliance, and audit requirements.
• Maintain IT documentation, backup procedures, and Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
• Manage IT vendors and coordinate with business users and external service providers.
• Provide technical guidance and support to IT team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT, application support, database management, or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server , including querying, scripting, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Good knowledge of database design, data modeling, and SAP BI .
• Proven experience in troubleshooting application and database issues.
• Experience in system implementation, integration, migration, and testing.
• Knowledge of IT security, access control, backup and recovery, and IT governance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in managing IT vendors or leading IT projects is an advantage.
