Freight Technology Product Manager

Job Summary

Responsible for leading freight technology products and digital transformation initiatives across freight forwarding, transportation, and logistics operations . Acts as the bridge between business, IT teams, vendors, and external partners to deliver scalable solutions that improve efficiency, visibility, customer experience, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Define technology architecture, product roadmaps, and digital transformation initiatives .
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Manage freight platforms including TMS, freight systems, billing, Track & Trace, customer portals, customs integrations, APIs, and analytics .
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, automation, and AI-driven solutions .
• Manage integrations with SAP, third-party logistics platforms, and vendors .
• Define and monitor technical and business KPIs, SLAs, and system performance.
• Prioritize product enhancements, manage backlogs, and coordinate cross-functional teams using Jira/Confluence .
• Lead system implementations, migrations, go-live support, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage technology vendors and support RFI/RFP activities.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• 6–10 years of experience in product management, IT, or digital transformation.
• Minimum 3 years in logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, or supply-chain technology preferred.
• Strong knowledge of system architecture, APIs, databases, integrations, and enterprise systems .
• Experience with Power BI, AI, automation, SAP, or TMS is an advantage.
• Experience with stakeholder management and leading cross-functional team.
• Certification: PMP, CSPO, or CSCP certification is an advantage.
