About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ERP Transformation & PMO Manager to support and drive programme governance, project controls, stakeholder coordination, vendor management, reporting, and delivery oversight for a large-scale ERP transformation programme.

The successful candidate will work closely with business leaders, project teams, technology teams, implementation partners, and senior management to ensure the programme is delivered effectively, within approved timelines and budgets, and aligned with business objectives.

The role will serve as a central coordination point for the ERP programme, supporting governance, risk and dependency management, executive reporting, vendor performance, and overall programme delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Programme Governance

  • Establish and maintain programme governance structures, including Steering Committees, Project Working Committees, design authority forums, and project control processes.
  • Develop and maintain governance standards, project methodologies, reporting frameworks, and approval processes.
  • Ensure programme activities comply with established organisational governance requirements.
  • Coordinate governance meetings, track decisions and actions, and ensure timely follow-up.

Programme Management & Delivery Oversight

  • Monitor programme progress against approved scope, schedule, budget, deliverables, and key milestones.
  • Coordinate activities across business and technology workstreams.
  • Track programme deliverables, dependencies, milestones, and critical activities.
  • Identify delivery risks and issues and coordinate timely resolution with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support programme planning, resource coordination, and execution activities.

Executive Reporting & Decision Support

  • Prepare programme dashboards, status reports, risk summaries, and management presentations.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting on programme health, milestones, budget utilisation, risks, issues, dependencies, and key decisions.
  • Analyse programme information and provide insights to support management decision-making.
  • Maintain clear and accurate programme records and reporting documentation.

Risk, Issue & Dependency Management

  • Maintain programme risk, issue, assumption, action, and dependency registers.
  • Facilitate the identification, assessment, mitigation, and escalation of programme risks and issues.
  • Coordinate resolution of critical issues across business stakeholders, project teams, and implementation partners.
  • Monitor mitigation actions and ensure appropriate escalation where required.

Vendor & Partner Management

  • Manage working relationships with ERP implementation partners, consultants, and technology vendors.
  • Monitor vendor performance against agreed deliverables, timelines, service levels, and contractual commitments.
  • Coordinate vendor governance meetings and performance reviews.
  • Support commercial discussions, contract variations, change requests, and service delivery reviews.

Financial Governance & Programme Controls

  • Monitor programme expenditure against approved budgets.
  • Track project financials, resource utilisation, forecasts, and variances.
  • Support the assessment and governance of change requests, including impacts on scope, budget, schedule, and resources.
  • Prepare and maintain financial information for programme reporting and governance.

Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, Operations, Asset Management, Technology, and other relevant business functions.
  • Facilitate programme workshops, governance meetings, project reviews, and stakeholder discussions.
  • Maintain effective communication and alignment across business and technology teams.
  • Coordinate actions and decisions across multiple stakeholders and workstreams.

Change Management & Business Readiness

  • Support change management activities to facilitate user adoption and organisational readiness.
  • Coordinate stakeholder communications, training activities, and business engagement initiatives.
  • Monitor business readiness indicators and support transition and cutover planning.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to identify and address readiness gaps.

Benefits Realisation

  • Support the definition and tracking of programme benefits and strategic objectives.
  • Monitor progress against agreed business outcomes and key performance indicators.
  • Support post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Quality Assurance & Programme Assurance

  • Support the review of project deliverables against agreed quality standards and programme objectives.
  • Coordinate project reviews, stage-gate assessments, and readiness checkpoints.
  • Support audit, compliance, assurance, and quality review activities where required.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation and governance records are maintained throughout the programme lifecycle.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in enterprise transformation, ERP implementation, programme management, PMO leadership, or large-scale business transformation.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting or managing ERP implementation programmes involving multiple business functions and external implementation partners.
  • Strong experience in programme governance, PMO controls, risk and issue management, stakeholder management, and executive reporting.
  • Experience working with system integrators, consulting partners, technology vendors, or other external service providers.
  • Good understanding of ERP implementation methodologies and programme delivery lifecycles.
  • Experience in programme budgeting, financial management, change control, and benefits tracking.
  • Experience supporting Steering Committees and senior management governance forums.

Professional Certifications

  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, Agile, Prosci , or other relevant programme/project management or change management certifications will be an advantage.
