Job Responsibilities:

• Screen patients for risk factors associated with diabetic foot conditions and determine the corresponding risk level.
• Recognise diabetic foot conditions and refer patients to the doctor / podiatrist for further management.
• Provide education on diabetic foot care to patients and/or caregivers.
• Maintain clear documentation of diabetic foot screening results.
• Adhere to legal, ethical, professional, departmental and organisational policies, including good infection control practices.
• Participate in activities that promote awareness of Podiatry services.

Requirements:

• Minimum NOA level
• WSQ Higher Certificate in Therapy Services would be an advantage.
• Service-oriented with good listening and interpersonal skills.
• Good time management skills.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Comfortable performing hands-on diabetic foot screening, including contact with patients’ feet that may have wounds, blood or strong odours.
• Willing to travel between different polyclinics in the West.
• Able to commit to contract duration: 1 year, renewable.
