Contract Pharmacy Technician – Inpatient / Outpatient Pharmacy #HHLT

📍 Queenstown 💰Up to 2800 📅 2-Year Contract 🕒 5.5-Day Work Week | Shifts may start from 8am 📆 Approx. 2 Weekends/Month 📞 On-Call Approx. Once/Month

💼 Responsibilities

• Process medication orders and support medication dispensing
• Pick, pack and label medications accurately
• Support medication reconciliation and prescription processing
• Pre-pack medications and process inpatient medication supply requests
• Perform billing-related duties
• Provide professional and courteous service to patients
• Maintain proper medication storage and stock organisation using FIFO
• Conduct inventory cycle counts according to SOPs
• Comply with medication safety and pharmacy procedures
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

📝 Requirements

• Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPTC); OR Min. diploma in Pharmaceutical Science
• Able to work independently and take initiative
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Able to prioritise and organise work effectively
• Comfortable working in inpatient / outpatient pharmacy settings
• Able to work weekends / Public Holidays when required
