Your tasks
Network and Security Equipment Management
- Support and manage routers, switches, firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Intrusion Prevention System, VPN gateways, proxies, Wire Lan Controllers, Network Access Control appliances, load balancers, Network Management System, other network and firewall devices.
- Perform day-to-day network and security operations, including monitoring and managing network infrastructure.
Incident and Problem Management
- Respond to network incidents according to severity levels and meet service level requirements.
- Handle high-pressure situations, identify problems, and make quick decisions to resolve issues.
- Adhere to incident management workflows and procedures.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain and update network diagrams, configuration records, inventory, RMA records, and incident reports.
- Provide timely and accurate reports on network performance, capacity planning, and incident analysis.
Collaboration and Coordination
- Work closely with third-party vendors, telecommunication operators, ISPs, and other service providers.
- Participate in transition planning and support the onboarding of network and security systems.
Compliance and Training
- Ensure compliance with company policies, information security guidelines, and health and safety regulations.
- Provide continuous training to enhance knowledge and skills in network administration and management.
Requirements
- Strong technical knowledge of network and security systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work on standby, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- On standby and contactable 24/7 for support and escalation.
