Contract DXA Imagining Specialist (Bio-Sciences are welcome) #NJH

Job Scope: Obtain consent from research participants. Perform health assessments including anthropometry and blood pressure measurement when necessary. (Upon completion of training) Perform bone densitometry and whole body composition scans on 20 participants per health screening session, keeping to the turnaround time per participant for that procedure. Review images and perform data entry accurately, noting any observation of anomalies. Flag anomalies on the scan images to the radiologist for determination of clinical significance. Analyse scans to derive the bone density and body composition accurately, and upload to the research database. Perform regular quality control and calibration procedures and maintenance of equipment. Update the inventory of consumables. Ensure the safety and protect the privacy of research participants by adhering to best practices. Reporting of incidents, complaints or adverse events. Job Requirement & other details Degree or Diploma in Biotechnology, Biology, Bio-Sciences Some experience as a technologist in an X-ray facility a plus Those without experience are welcome to apply as training is provided - must have good mathematical skills 5 days work week, no overtime, work-life-balance culture. Campus environment Full-time work hours are: 7.45am to 5.30pm on Mon, Tue, Thu and Fri; and 9am to 5pm on Wed. Basic Salary up to $4.2K per month, with varibale bonuses
