BIOPHARMACEUTICAL Operational Buyer #HJN

Duties:

• Manage day-to-day purchasing activities for goods, services and CAPEX
• Review purchase requests and ensure procurement processes are followed
• Source and compare suppliers through quotations, RFQs and competitive bidding
• Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs), follow up with suppliers and ensure timely delivery
• Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier records in SAP
• Work with internal teams, Accounts Payable and suppliers to resolve purchasing and invoice-related issues
• Support supplier negotiations and manage supplier performance
• Handle issues such as rejected goods, returns and supplier non-conformance
• Promote the use of SAP Ariba, e-catalogues and other digital procurement platforms
• Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and maintain accurate data

Requirements:

• Min Dip/ Deg in Business Administration/ Logistics or any other relevant qualifications
• Min 5–10 years of relevant experience in indirect and/or CAPEX procurement/purchasing is preferred
• Good understanding of the Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order (PR-to-PO) process is preferred
• Experience conducting 3-bid exercises/RFx activities and managing suppliers is preferred
• Experience supporting or conducting supplier negotiations, particularly for lower-value purchases/contracts is preferred
• Hands-on SAP ERP experience within a procurement/purchasing environment is highly advantageous
