• Ensure the accurate recording and classification of transactions in the bank’s accounting system.
• The role involves maintaining the General Ledger (GL), supporting financial and regulatory reporting, and resolving discrepancies.
• The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams to ensure data integrity, process improvements, and operational support.
• Maintain and update the GL and chart of accounts.
• Provide accounting advisory and support for transactions.
• Participate in product, process, and system changes, ensuring reporting requirements are met.
• Review daily operational reports and address exceptions or discrepancies.
• Ensure data integrity and resolve discrepancies between systems.
• Provide operational support in case of data gaps or outages.
• Assist with audit queries and year-end confirmations.
• Contribute to process improvements and provide cross-departmental support.
