Assistant Manager, Manufacturing (Food Production) - Up to $6,000 $HHLT

📍 Tuas – Walking Distance from Tuas Link MRT 💰 $5,000–$6,000/month 🕒 Mon–Fri, 8am–5:15pm

💼 Responsibilities

• Manage daily production operations to achieve production plans, quality and delivery targets
• Lead and supervise the Production team, including manpower planning and training needs
• Monitor productivity, downtime, wastage and overall operational efficiency
• Lead installation and qualification of new / modified production equipment and process lines
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance to minimise equipment downtime
• Ensure compliance with food safety, ISO, workplace safety and regulatory requirements
• Lead plant improvement projects covering productivity, cost and energy savings
• Support production trials and new product launches

📝 Requirements

• Min. degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Min. 5 years of relevant experience in a food production environment
• Strong production management and food manufacturing equipment knowledge
• Good understanding of food safety, workplace health and environmental safety requirements
• Knowledge of Quality Control, JDE and Lean Manufacturing advantageous
• ISO 22000 / Food Safety Committee leadership experience advantageous
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills
