💼 Assistant Accountant / Junior Accountant | Shipping MNC 📍 Raffles Place – Maybank Tower 💰 Up to $5,000/month + Variable Bonus 📅 12-Month Contract 🏠 Hybrid – Fixed WFH Every Friday ⚡ Immediate / Short Notice Candidates Preferred Join an established UK MNC within the shipping industry in a lean Finance team with good exposure across operational accounting, month-end closing, reconciliations and financial controls. Financial Accounting & Month-End

• Support month-end closing and preparation/review of financial data • Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities • Manage account creation, invoice allocation and payment allocation across multiple entities • Process intercompany expense allocations and transactions • Perform credit control and follow up on aged debts • Manage staff expense claims through SAP Concur and assist users with system-related issues

Reconciliation & Financial Control

• Perform bank reconciliations • Handle income reconciliations • Reconcile corporate card accounts • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records

Audit, Tax & Compliance

• Support annual audit and tax queries • Maintain proper accounting documentation and audit-ready records • Respond to audit requirements and follow-up queries • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, policies and procedures

Systems & Process Improvement

• Support ownership, administration and reporting for SAP Concur • Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and workflows • Maintain data integrity across finance systems • Provide broader finance support to the Finance Manager and overseas Finance team
