Application Engineer (Process Analytics, Technical Support, Training Provided) #HDC1

About the company

A global leader in precision instruments is looking for an Application Engineer to support its process analytics business. You will provide technical and application support to customers and the sales team, with full product training provided.

Your tasks

• Provide direct technical and application support for the process analytics business
• Coordinate with the sales team and sub-vendors on the integration of process analyzers
• Perform troubleshooting and conduct customer site visits for process analyzers
• Set up onsite trials and review results with customers
• Prepare and deliver in-house and onsite technical and product training to customers
• Create technical materials and proposals to support the sales team
• Join the sales team in customer presentations and product demonstrations
• Respond promptly to customers' technical enquiries
• Keep accurate records of customer visits, trials and technical activities
• Keep up with industry developments and new product solutions

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, Material Science, Water Treatment) or Science, and above
• 0 to 2 years of relevant experience; no prior experience required as full training is provided
• Interest in analytical instruments and process industries
• Good presentation and communication skills, comfortable explaining technical topics to customers
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
• Good teamwork and the ability to coordinate with sales and vendors
• Willingness to travel to customer sites in Singapore
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
