• Work closely with the regional accounting team to ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end closing • Review Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations and ensure outstanding items are properly resolved • Analyse financial performance and prepare variance analysis • Provide accounting and financial support to business units and other departments • Prepare GST, withholding tax returns and related tax documentation • Review and implement Finance process improvements, automation and control enhancements • Lead or support ad-hoc Finance projects and transformation initiatives • Liaise with banks on treasury and banking matters • Coordinate quarterly and year-end stocktakes • Coordinate year-end fixed asset sighting • Liaise with internal and external auditors and follow up on audit recommendations • Assist with year-end tax filing • Support management with business analysis, projects and other Finance initiatives
