4-5 Months Temp Food Service Assistant (Healthcare) *SOUTH* #HZTK

Location: Queenstown Working Hours: 5-day work week, 42 hours/week Rotational hours: 5.15am–2.45pm / 7.30am–5.00pm Includes weekends & public holidays Transport claimable for 5:15am shift Job Scope Manage patient meal orders and diet-related administrative duties. Generate daily meal summaries and meal chits accurately. Handle calls, enquiries, and feedback from patients and relevant stakeholders. Assist with meal assembly, plating, and distribution. Monitor and manage food stock, supplies, and deliveries. Conduct patient meal satisfaction surveys and record feedback. Support staff meal orders and payment processing. Perform general administrative and operational duties within the food service department. Ensure food service procedures and hygiene standards are followed at all times. Support other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements Min. Diploma in Food Science, Food Nutrition, or any related field. Candidates with prior relevant experience in food service, healthcare, hospitality, or administrative is an advantage. Valid WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 certification required.
