12 Months HR Operations, AVP- Insurance ($7,000-$8,300) #BYR

We are seeking an experienced People Operations professional to oversee Employee Life Cycle (ELC) operations and Risk & Governance activities within a regulated financial services environment. This is a hands-on individual contributor role that operates with a high degree of independence, while providing guidance to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end employee lifecycle operations including onboarding, transfers, employee changes and offboarding.
• Oversee employee queries, HR documentation, benefits and leave administration, ensuring timely and accurate delivery within established SLAs.
• Manage Singapore work pass applications, renewals and cancellations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure employee data, HRIS records and reporting are accurate, complete and properly maintained.
• Oversee HR operational queries through shared mailboxes and HRIS helpdesk channels.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardisation of People Operations processes, procedures and controls.
• Support Risk & Governance activities, including policy governance, operational risk assessments, controls and remediation of identified gaps.
• Support MAS-related governance requirements, internal/external audits, regulatory reviews and compliance initiatives.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation, governance records, SOPs and appropriate operational controls.
• Identify and escalate material operational risks, recurring issues, data quality concerns and control weaknesses.
• Support HRIS enhancements and process changes, ensuring appropriate governance, data protection and control considerations.
• Provide operational guidance and support to junior People Operations team members.

Requirements

• Minimum 6–8 years of HR/People Operations experience.
• Strong hands-on experience across Employee Life Cycle operations.
• Risk & Governance experience within the financial services sector is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with policy governance, MAS/MOM requirements, audits, operational risk and process controls.
• Experience with work pass administration, HRIS and employee data management.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently in a hands-on operational role.
• Prior team management or mentoring experience would be an advantage.
