📍 Changi, Singapore | Onsite 📅 12-Month Renewable Contract 💰 Up to $6,200/month 🏭 Medical Device Manufacturing Environment 👥 2 Rounds of In-Person Interview Join a fast-paced medical device manufacturing environment as a Manufacturing Engineer, supporting process improvement, equipment development, validation and automation initiatives. This role is ideal for engineers with experience in manufacturing engineering, automation, programming or Industry 4.0 projects. Job Description Design and develop equipment, tools, fixtures and other solutions to improve manufacturing processes.

Develop and execute experiments and testing protocols to qualify and validate manufacturing processes.

Analyse test results, make recommendations and prepare technical reports.

Support manufacturing process improvement and optimisation initiatives.

Develop work instructions, training materials and technical documentation for production teams.

Provide technical support relating to software coding and development for manufacturing applications.

Support validation activities by gathering, analysing and documenting relevant data.

Assist in the implementation of automation and advanced manufacturing technology projects.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve manufacturing risks, issues and process concerns.

Support troubleshooting of automated equipment and manufacturing systems.

Contribute to Industry 4.0/5.0 initiatives, including robotics, automation and AI-enabled manufacturing solutions.

Manage multiple projects and collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors and project partners to achieve project objectives.

Who Should Apply Engineers with hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering, automation, robotics or process improvement .

Candidates with programming/data analytics experience, particularly Python, Power BI or C# , who are interested in applying technology to manufacturing.

Engineers who have worked on Industry 4.0/5.0, automation, robotics or AI-related industrial projects .

Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science or a related technical discipline.

At least 3 years of relevant engineering experience , preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Strong proficiency in Python and Power BI ; knowledge of other programming languages is advantageous.

Knowledge of C# is an added advantage.

Experience with automated equipment troubleshooting and manufacturing systems.

Experience in robotics programming, AI-assisted programming or other Industry 4.0/5.0 initiatives will be advantageous.

Exposure to robotics foundation models, Vision Language Models (VLM), Vision Language Action (VLA) models or Large Language Models (LLMs) applied to industrial environments is a plus.

Experience with CAD, MS Project and Microsoft Office applications is advantageous.

Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) is preferred.

Experience working with laboratory or industrial equipment is advantageous.

Basic understanding of statistical techniques and engineering principles.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Experience working with vendors and project stakeholders is advantageous.

Knowledge of FDA or other applicable regulatory requirements for medical device manufacturing is preferred.
