1-Year Contract, Convertible Pharmacy Assistant / Pharmacy Technician #HGNT

Your tasks

Job Responsibilities

• Assemble and compound sterile products using aseptic techniques in a GMP-compliant cleanroom.

• Adhere to aseptic techniques when compounding sterile medications.

• Operate compounding equipment safely and accurately in accordance with established SOPs.

• Ensure accurate documentation of compounding activities, including batch numbers and expiry dates, in compliance with GMP standards.

• Collect environmental monitoring samples and perform routine quality checks as required.

• Manage inventory of drugs, consumables and related materials, ensuring proper storage under recommended conditions.

• Perform routine cleaning of work areas and equipment in accordance with SOPs while maintaining cleanroom standards.

• Assist the Production Supervisor in maintaining statistics and data for reports relating to sterile compounding.

• Comply with safety protocols, hygiene standards and GMP requirements, including maintaining aseptic and gowning qualifications.

Requirements

• Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science from a local polytechnic or equivalent; OR

• Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPTC); OR

• Foreign pharmacy degree not recognised by the Singapore Pharmacy Council.

• Part-time Diploma in Applied Science (Pharmaceutical Science); OR

• Other Diploma, Higher NITEC or NITEC qualifications with relevant experience may be considered.

• Candidates pursuing part-time studies will start as Pharmacy Assistants. Full-time study candidates may be considered for Pharmacy Technician positions, subject to the relevant qualifications.

• Previous aseptic or sterile compounding experience is desirable but not essential.

• Must be comfortable wearing full personal protective equipment (PPE) and working in a cleanroom environment.
