Design Engineer (Power Electronics, R&D)
Design and develop analog/digital control systems for switch‑mode power converters, meeting performance, reliability, and cost targets.
Build prototypes, run simulations, and conduct validation tests (electrical, thermal, EMI/EMC, reliability) to qualify designs.
Prepare and maintain design documentation, schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs, and test reports with proper version control.
Collaborate with mechanical, PCB, manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams to support smooth transfer into production.
Ensure compliance with international safety and environmental standards (IEC, UL, RoHS, REACH) while promoting ISO 9001 practices.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in power electronics design (flyback, forward, buck, boost, resonant converters).
- Knowledge of magnetic design, EMI/EMC mitigation, thermal management, and reliability testing.
- Familiarity with analog/digital control strategies, embedded firmware (MCU/DSP), and communication protocols (PMBus, I2C, SPI, CAN).
- Proficiency with simulation tools (LTspice, MATLAB/Simulink), PCB CAD, and lab instruments (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, electronic loads).
