Platform Design Engineer (m/f/d) (Engineer - Aerospace Engineering)

Your Tasks

• Representation of the Platform in customer projects
• Investigations at the total seat level with a focus on installation drawings and support in the creation of platform documents regarding total seat requirements
• Ensuring the execution of the structural layout and total seat design according to the project schedule and budget
• Deriving work packages from the requirements specification and assigning them to the specialist department or to external service providers
• Definition and supervision of externally outsourced work packages with final assessment and acceptance of results
• Creation of definition documents as well as bills of materials, conducting layout investigations taking into account the applicable regulations
• Participation in the planning and budgeting of platform development and customer projects

Your Qualifications

• Completed technical studies in the field of Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering or comparable
• Relevant professional experience in a design environment
• Initial experience in project control and technical guidance is desirable
• Catia V5 knowledge or similar is required
• Very good English skills in spoken and written form
• Structured way of working and well-developed problem-solving skills
• Teamwork, high initiative, and decisiveness round off the profile
