About the Role
RDIVC PTE LTD is looking for a Video Editor who understands social media — not just editing. You should know how to create videos that capture attention within the first few seconds and keep audiences watching. If you understand hooks, pacing, captions, music, sound design, transitions, B-roll and audience retention, this could be the role for you. You’ll work closely with RDIVC PTE LTD’s producers and marketing teams to transform raw footage into engaging short-form content for our digital platforms.
What You’ll Do
- Edit Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, YouTube Shorts and other short-form digital content.
- Transform raw footage into engaging, polished and visually appealing videos.
- Create strong hooks and attention-grabbing openings.
- Add captions, subtitles, text animation, music, sound effects and B-roll.
- Use creative cuts, punch-ins, speed ramps and transitions where appropriate.
- Repurpose interviews, podcasts, webinars and long-form videos into short-form content.
- Perform basic colour correction, colour grading and audio enhancement.
- Incorporate graphics, stock footage and visual elements where appropriate.
- Work closely with RDIVC PTE LTD producers and marketers to understand each video's objective.
- Manage multiple editing projects and revisions.
- Ensure videos are optimised for the appropriate social media platform and format.
- Keep up with trending editing styles, social media formats and platform trends.
- Ensure all completed content meets RDIVC PTE LTD’s creative and quality standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience editing short-form vertical videos.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut or similar editing software.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
- Good understanding of social media trends and audience-retention techniques.
- Strong sense of pacing, music, storytelling and visual rhythm.
- Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality.
- Comfortable handling multiple projects, feedback and revisions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Portfolio / Showreel is required.
