Senior Minecraft Marketplace and Operations Specialist (M/F)
We are looking for an experienced and versatile professional to join our team, bringing in-depth knowledge of the Minecraft Bedrock Marketplace ecosystem, as well as strong creative, technical, organizational, and communication skills.
This is a multidisciplinary position, ideal for someone comfortable in the fields of game development, content production, community management, documentation, and studio operations. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with several development disciplines and provide direct support to the General Manager.
- Experience and language requirements
- 9 years of professional experience in the field of the Minecraft Bedrock Marketplace and its ecosystem.
- Mastery (C2 level) of English.
- Mastery (C2 level) of Spanish.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both languages.
- Creative software and tools
Advanced mastery of the following tools:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Blockbench
- Video editing software
Experience in the production, review, or preparation of creative assets for digital or video game-related projects will be strongly appreciated.
- Development platforms and tools
Practical knowledge of the following tools:
- Microsoft Auger
- Compass
- Microsoft Azure
- Git and other version control
- Technical skills
- Ability to read, understand, and modify JSON files with confidence.
- Familiarity with game development pipelines and multidisciplinary production environments.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical and creative requirements between different departments.
- Documentation and project coordination
The candidate must be able to create clear and comprehensive project documentation, defining requirements, responsibilities, and deliverables for several disciplines, including:
- Programming
- Art
- Game Design
- Sound Design
- Animation
- UI/UX
This includes translating project goals and creative direction into operational documentation that is understandable and applicable by various members of the development team.
- Writing and editing
- Strong proofreading and editing skills.
- Script and dialogue writing.
- Creation and editing of internal and external written content.
- Ability to adapt writing style and terminology based on the audience, project, and platform.
- Social media and community management
Experience in managing social media channels and online communities, particularly on:
- YouTube
- X / Twitter
- Discord
The position also requires experience in Discord community management, including:
- Moderation
- Community engagement
- Server organization
- General server maintenance
- Executive support
The candidate will work closely with the General Manager and provide direct support to them. Responsibilities may include:
- Communication assistance
- Documentation writing
- Project coordination
- Organization and follow-up
- Other operational or administrative tasks as needed
