Information Technology (IT) Manager - with experience

Department: Systems and Information Technologies

Objective: To manage, maintain, and optimize the technological infrastructure of Grupo Empresarial MWS – Rayo Negro – LMT, guaranteeing the availability, security, and correct functioning of the systems, networks, computing equipment, digital platforms, and technological tools that support the operation of the three companies, promoting operational continuity, information security, and the continuous improvement of technological processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Engineering in Systems, Informatics, Information Technologies, or a related field.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in technical support and administration of CONTPAQi.
• Knowledge and management of one or more CONTPAQi modules: Contabilidad, Comercial, Nóminas, Factura Electrónica, or Bancos.
• Experience in installation, configuration, and updating of CONTPAQi systems.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (backups, restoration, basic maintenance, and SQL queries).
• Knowledge of Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2022, Power BI, and Microsoft Office.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, printers, shared resources, and remote access).
• Google Cloud
• Experience in handling and following up on incidents through a help desk or ticketing system.
• Ease of communicating with users and providing technical support.

Functions

• Provide on-site and remote technical support to CONTPAQi users.
• Install, configure, and update CONTPAQi systems.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents related to the application, databases, and workstations.
• Perform backups and restorations of databases in SQL Server.
• Configure equipment, printers, and devices necessary for operation.
• Document incidents, solutions, and technical procedures.
• Support the implementation of new versions and system improvements.
• Escalate high-complexity incidents to the specialized team when necessary.
• Train users on basic CONTPAQi functionalities.

• 6 years of experience
