Tableau Server Administrator

Key Responsibilities

• Administer Tableau Server across Dev, QA and Production .
• Plan and execute Tableau Server upgrades , validation and post-upgrade support.
• Manage users, groups, permissions, licences, extracts, schedules and data sources.
• Troubleshoot Tableau Server issues across QA and Production.
• Execute and update regression and upgrade test cases.
• Coordinate RHEL/OS and middleware upgrades with infrastructure teams.
• Support CI/CD and deployments using GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins and Ansible.
• Perform automation using Python, Tableau REST API/TSC or related tools.
• Validate dependent Control-M jobs during and after upgrades.
• Provide BAU Tableau administration, monitoring and production support.

Mandatory Requirements

• Strong hands-on Tableau Server Administration experience.
• Experience performing Tableau Server upgrades in Production .
• Good knowledge of Tableau Server architecture, TSM, logs, backup/restore and troubleshooting .
• Experience with Tableau Server on Linux/RHEL .
• Understanding of Tableau Desktop/Server compatibility and enterprise deployments .

• Control-M or enterprise batch scheduling tools
