Security Consulting Practitioner

Security Best Practices & Compliance:

Enforce and promote security frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS Controls and regulatory standards including PDPA, GDPR across Information Labeling and DLP deployments.

Solution Advisory & Strategy:

Stay updated on Microsoft Purview features, Microsoft roadmap updates, and emerging data governance practices . Provide expert guidance on security roadmaps, cloud security adoption frameworks, and digital transformation initiatives leveraging Microsoft technologies.

Conduct current-state assessments, gap analyses, and future-state designs , presenting technically sound recommendations.

Project Leadership & Delivery:

Lead end-to-end complex security projects from concept/proposal through implementation, testing, and post-go-live optimization .

Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues , including effective contingency planning.

Deliver client workshops and technical training with excellent presentation and documentation skills.

Translate complex technical concepts into business value propositions .

Conduct security assessments and provide strategic recommendations to improve clients' security posture.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related technical field
• 10+ years of progressive IT and cybersecurity experience, with significant experience in Data Security, Information Labeling & Classification , including at least 5 years in leadership, management, or client-facing consulting .
• Mandatory: Extensive hands-on expertise with Microsoft Purview and comprehensive Data Security experience.
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing complex security solutions across diverse enterprise environments.
• Highly desirable certifications: Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, Implement Microsoft Purview Information Protection, CISSP, CDPSE .
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams in a consulting/advisory capacity.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Good to have: Microsoft Security certifications such as SC-400, SC-401 .
