Lead System Engineer – WINTEL / RHEL

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Windows Server and RHEL infrastructure.
• Perform system administration including user management, access controls, patching, and security hardening .
• Develop automation using PowerShell, Bash, and Python .
• Monitor system performance and optimise infrastructure reliability and resource utilisation.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolution.
• Manage virtualisation platforms and storage solutions , including configuration and capacity planning.
• Support infrastructure changes, upgrades, and cross-functional implementation activities.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation, procedures, and architectural records .
• Conduct security assessments and implement infrastructure security best practices.
• Participate in incident management and provide on-call support when required.
• Keep updated with emerging technologies and recommend infrastructure improvements.

Mandatory Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in Windows Server / Wintel administration .
• Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) .
• 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure administration, operations, or support.
• ITIL Foundation certification .
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong team coordination and collaboration skills.
• Good stakeholder presentation skills.
• Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
• Proven ability to prepare accurate and detailed technical documentation.
• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or related field .
