Design, develop, enhance, integrate, test and maintain full-stack applications, backend services, APIs, databases and supporting components, and provide hands-on engineering support across application and infrastructure layers.
Design, provision, configure, maintain and optimise secure, scalable, resilient and highly available cloud infrastructure and services on Government Commercial Cloud Amazon Web Services (GCC-AWS), including compute, container, serverless, networking, storage, database, security, monitoring and integration services;
Design, develop, maintain and continuously improve CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines to automate source code integration, build, testing, code quality analysis, security scanning, artifact management, deployment and release processes across development, testing and production environments;
Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation to enable consistent, repeatable, traceable and controlled provisioning, configuration and management of cloud infrastructure and application environments.
Implement and maintain application and infrastructure observability, including logging, monitoring, metrics, alerting and operational dashboards;
Troubleshoot application and infrastructure incidents, perform root-cause analysis, optimise system performance and reliability, and implement preventive and corrective measures; Implement and continuously improve application, cloud and DevSecOps security controls, including identity and access management, network security, secrets management, vulnerability management, security hardening, dependency management and remediation of security findings;
Take end-to-end ownership of application and infrastructure deployment and release activities, including planning, execution, validation, troubleshooting, rollback and post-deployment verification.
Support and perform planned and unplanned deployments, maintenance, system changes, incident resolution and production support activities, which may occur outside normal working hours, including nights, weekends and public holidays, to support approved deployment and maintenance windows and minimise disruption to production services;
Collaborate effectively across application, infrastructure, cybersecurity and operations teams, and proactively communicate progress, risks, issues and impediments;
Demonstrate strong problem-solving ability and a self-starter attitude, with initiative, technical ownership, resilience and perseverance, and be able to work through ambiguity, independently investigate complex application, infrastructure, networking, security and deployment issues, identify root causes, propose solutions and drive issues to resolution with minimal supervision; and
