Application DBA

Key Responsibilities Analyse and document existing Sybase stored procedures and business logic.

Convert/re-engineer stored procedures to T-SQL or the target platform’s SQL dialect.

Validate converted logic for functional accuracy and equivalent outputs.

Work with application developers to resolve database and application logic dependencies.

Support schema migration and data integrity validation.

Participate in migration testing, migration waves, and cutover activities.

Must Have Minimum 3 years in application-level database development or stored procedure engineering.

Strong Sybase stored procedures and database architecture knowledge.

Proficiency in T-SQL or equivalent SQL dialect.

Ability to analyse and re-engineer complex business logic.

Database migration, schema conversion, and functional validation experience.

Good to Have

• ETL pipelines and data migration methodologies.
