Buyer - Manufacturing [East | Up to $5K] RRKC

Role Highlight: Established Global Infrastructure Provided @ East Monday - Friday, 8:30AM to 5:30PM Key Responsibilities Manage full spectrum of purchasing process, including sourcing, RFQs, negotiation, purchase orders and delivery follow-up Review MRP requirements and purchase materials, components and equipment for production Monitor supplier performance and expedite deliveries to meet production schedules Coordinate with Supply Chain, Planning and Logistics teams to ensure timely material availability Monitor inventory levels and follow established stocking policies Coordinate shipments, delivery tracking and customs documentation with logistics providers Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information and procurement documentation Manage supplier-related RMA (return material authorization) and non-conforming material matters Analyse BOMs to support purchasing, planning and inventory activities Support cost reduction and process improvement initiatives Prepare weekly and monthly purchasing and supply chain reports Prioritise purchasing activities based on business and production requirements

Role Requirements Min. Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Procurement, or a related discipline Min. 3years of relevant purchasing/procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment Strong supplier management, communication and negotiation skills Experience with MRP, SAP or ERP systems will be an advantage Able to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Chinese-speaking candidates required to communicate with Chinese-speaking suppliers/stakeholders
