Quality Control Technician for Aeronautics (M/F)

Job Description:

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you ensure that quality is integrated into our products, from the prototype stage to delivery to the customer. Your missions are to Provide quality support during prototype assembly, ensuring that constructions comply with plans, work instructions, and specifications.

Identify and document non-conforming parts, supporting processing and corrective actions alongside the engineering team.

Perform first article reviews on development parts.

Prepare and maintain FAI reports with full traceability of inspection results.

Follow up on FAI findings and ensure that corrective actions are closed before production starts.

Manage the quality wall checkpoint, verifying that each development unit meets defined criteria before moving to the next phase.

Escalate recurring defects to Quality Engineering and Design for resolution.

Perform visual and dimensional inspections to identify non-conforming units, isolate defective products, and document results.

Act as an on-site quality representative, liaising between the customer and internal teams to effectively resolve quality issues.

Escalate field observations to the development center to drive corrective actions and product improvement.

Ensure that inspection and non-conformity reports are correctly documented in the appropriate tools.

You may be required to travel to customer sites if necessary.

Hours: Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm with a 40-minute lunch break and 10-minute breaks in the morning and afternoon.

Salary: €16 per hour, €14 restaurant vouchers - a meal vending fridge and a cafeteria room are available.

Profile Description:

Holding a qualification in quality, you have initial experience in a quality inspection or manufacturing quality role, ideally in the aerospace, defense, or high-tech sectors.

You know how to read engineering drawings and use standard inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.). Ideally, knowledge of first article inspection (FAI) processes is a plus, as well as ISO 9001 and EN 9100 standards.

You have a good level of English, allowing you to communicate orally and in writing.
