assembly process engineer

Are you technically strong and driven to optimize production processes? In this role, you will work on improving and stabilizing assembly processes, with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.

• Developing and improving assembly processes for stable production
• Supporting production in terms of output, quality, safety, and costs
• Resolving structural problems and monitoring process parameters
• Implementing and executing process improvements
• Analyzing and introducing changes with clear communication
• Collaborating with international teams for knowledge sharing and standardization
• Determining efficient assembly methods and tools
• Drafting and managing work instructions and process documentation
• Applying continuous improvement methodologies
• Collaborating with different departments for optimal assembly
• Master or Bachelor EM with relevant experience in a production environment (experience with pile driving equipment is a plus)
• Good knowledge of mechanics and mechanical constructions (knowledge of welding is required)
• Working independently, structured, and goal-oriented with an eye for safety, manufacturability, ergonomics, and quality
• Translating technical knowledge into practical applications on the shop floor
• Analyzing problems (RCA) and thinking in a solution-oriented manner
• Insight into process optimization and methodologies such as Lean, 5S, and line balancing
• Familiar with risk analysis within processes, such as FMEA (knowledge of PFMEA is desired)
• Striving for uniform working methods and actively contributing to standardization (knowledge of line balancing is an extra asset)
• Convincing and motivating colleagues to implement improvements
• Communicating fluently and professionally
• Communicating fluently in English, both orally and in writing
