Job Title: MIG Welder Job Type: Temporary - Ongoing (Long-term stability with potential permanent opportunities) Location: Newton Aycliffe (DL5 6UG) Pay Rates:
- PAYE Days: £21.31/hr
- PAYE, Afternoon: £25.57/hr
- Umbrella Days: £28.30/hr
- Umbrella, Afternoon: £33.97/hr
Shift Patterns:
- Days: Mon-Thurs (6:30 am - 3:00 pm) & Fri (6:30 am - 12:00 pm)
- Afternoon: Mon-Thu (3:00 pm - 11:30 pm) & Fri (12:00 pm - 5:30 pm)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform precision MIG welding on aluminium materials.
- Work with build and welding fixtures while adhering strictly to tight tolerances.
- Follow standard work procedures in line with modern manufacturing practices.
- Execute basic manual lifting and material handling safely.
- Maintain an uncompromising commitment to health, safety, and operational standards at all times.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven hands-on experience in MIG welding with aluminium.
- Ability to interpret work procedures and operate on your own initiative or as part of a team.
- Physical capability to manage manual lifting as required by production processes.
- Strong safety awareness in a high-intensity factory environment.
